Dodgers Will Attend Tim Lincecum’s Showcase

Oakland Athletics v Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim

After years of battling against them as a member of the rival San Francisco Giants, Tim Lincecum could potentially find himself as a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports reports the Dodgers will be scouting the right-hander at his showcase:

The showcase is Thursday in Washington, as earlier reported by Driveline:

Lincecum has not pitched since 2016 when he made nine starts for the Anaheim Angels. He finished with a 9.16 ERA, 7.16 FIP, and a 2.374 WHIP in 38.1 innings.

The front office has had luck finding gems in the past couple seasons (Joe Blanton, Brandon Morrow) and Lincecum could possibly be the next project they take a chance on (no matter how weird it would be to see him in a Dodgers uniform).
