It was a day of good news for Los Angeles Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen. The team announced that he had a successful ablation procedure. The surgery was done to help correct an irregular heartbeat that began during the season on a trip to Colorado.

Jansen is expected to be ready by spring training and available for Opening Day.

The 31-year-old took to social media to let the fans know he was ok following the procedure.

This is the second time the right-hander has had the operation.
