During the 6th inning on Thursday night, Max Muncy fouled a ball off of his ankle and eventually left the game. Obviously never a good feeling at all, but everything seems to be okay after X-rays came back negative.
Max Muncy bruised his ankle fouling a ball off of it in the sixth inning. Dave Roberts said X-rays were negative.

The bruised ankle has forced Muncy to walk with a bit of a limp. Don’t be surprised of Roberts gives Max a well-deserved day off tomorrow evening to rest that ankle.
Muncy left the clubhouse limping noticeably.

Muncy had already recorded an RBI single in his first at-bat of the much anticipated rematch against Giants’ ace Madison Bumgarner.
Max is batting .283 on the season with 17 home runs and 46 RBI in 73 games.
