Dodgers: Joc Pederson and Cody Bellinger Named All-Star Finalists

Outfielders Joc Pederson and Cody Bellinger have been named finalists for the All-Star Game in Cleveland this year.

Cody Bellinger was the top vote-getter amongst National League outfielders in the final update of the voting period.

Bellinger, slashing .358/.453/.708 on the season, is fully deserving of a spot as a legit MVP candidate while Pederson, the owner of a 136 wRC+ might be a bit more suited as a reserve with his teammate Bellinger, the Brewers’ Christian Yelich, and the Braves’ Ronald Acuna Jr. likely to take up the starting spots.

Getting Joc and Belli this far is a testament to how much the Dodgers love their boys in blue!

It would not come as a surprise to see Hyun-Jin Ryu, Walker Buehler, and Clayton Kershaw join Joc Pederson and Cody Bellinger in July.

Let us know in the comments below who you think should be in the game, representing the Dodgers!
