The Dodgers have transferred AJ Pollock to the 60-day injured list to create the necessary roster space for the recalling of left-hander Zac Rosscup.
The Dodgers today recalled IF Edwin Ríos and selected the contract of LHP Zac Rosscup. To make room on the 25-man roster, the Dodgers optioned pitchers Tony Gonsolin and Caleb Ferguson, while transferring A.J. Pollock to the 60-day injured list to make room on the 40-man roster.

Pollock, signed this off-season by the Dodgers, has missed a majority of the season with an elbow infection.
The club is still expecting him to resurface shortly after the All-Star Break. His placement on the 60-day injured list has no affect on his return timetable.
Before going down, Pollock posted just a 64 wRC+ and -0.3 WAR in his first 28 games in Los Angeles.
