Dodger fans were surprised to see Chris Taylor’s name absent from the starting lineup on Tuesday, especially after an off day. After the game, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts provides the update.
Chris Taylor was dealing with fatigue and sickness entering the game. His walk in the 9th, started the rally.

Taylor dealing with fatigue and sickness could be some symptom of Colorado, but likely nothing to really worry about. Roberts expanded on CT3’s availability.
To try to get 9 innings out of him wasn’t going to happen. I wanted to get maybe one at-bat out of him and he said he could go more.
Taylor eventually entered the game as a pinch hitter in the 7th inning and hustled his way into a one-out triple.
Later in the bottom of the 9th inning, he got the walk-off rally started as he took a full count walk with 2 outs. He came around to tie the game as part of 5 consecutive walks issued by Arizona pitchers in an eventual Dodgers walk-off win.
