The Diamondbacks, along with the Rockies, have now become a victim to the walk-off. The Dodgers have now walked off in five consecutive games at home, including Tuesday night’s wild walk-off walk. The walk-off streak first began back on June 21st, where the Dodgers walkoff-swept the Rockies in three games.
Wednesday night’s game was shaping up like it could come down to the wire yet again. Following a Carson Kelley home run in the 9th off of Kenley Jansen to take the lead, the Dodgers weren’t done yet. Kiké’s lead off double paid off as Beaty promptly knocked him in with a hit of his own.
Free baseball at Dodger Stadium is always a mystery, but knowing how productive this offense has been this year, you can count on the boys in blue to send the fans home happy. With one out in the 9th, Bellinger drills a 1-0 fastball over the outer half to end it. Dodgers win it 5-4 in the 10th!
The @Dodgers are now the fifth team in the live-ball era (since 1920) to win via walkoff in 5 or more straight home games in a single season, along with the 2000 Royals (6 straight), 1986 Padres (5), 1986 Astros (5) and 2004 Athletics (5).#LABleedsBlue

Much earlier in this one, Bellinger hit home run number 28 of the season in the second inning. That long ball cemented Cody into the Dodgers All-Time record books, tying Gil Hodges and Duke Snider with most home runs before the All-Star Break. Bellinger wasn’t done yet. His walk-off home run marks 29 for him, making him the only Dodger with 29 homers for the All-Star break. Bellinger sits at the top of that leaderboard.
Here’s the game-winner. One of the sweetest swings in all of baseball.

On Cody Bellinger’s second straight walk-off, the Dodgers take both games from Arizona and will prepare for a four game series at home against the Padres. Will the Dodgers secure walk-off number six in a row tonight? We’ll see if they have some more fireworks to set off on America’s Birthday.
