Dodgers: Justin Turner Describes What It’s Like To Be On The 2019 Dodgers

After a fifth consecutive walk-off win at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, a lot of people are left without words about the 2019 Dodgers. Truly, when you think you have seen it all; this version of the Dodgers show a brand new wrinkle.

It’s tough to tell the story without doing so with the words of the players during this first-half run that has taken the Dodgers’ record 30 games over the .500 mark. Now, Justin Turner tells David Vassegh what it’s like to be part of the 2019 Dodgers’ clubhouse.

As you might expect, the wise redheaded veteran sums it up well.

“We’re excited about everyone in the clubhouse. It’s fun to come to the field everyday and know that you can trust every guy will play their butt off and do everything they can to win a game.”

Indeed – when talking about a ‘team’ environment – what Turner describes is that in it’s essence. Being able to look to the side and see someone there you trust to do their job.

Furthermore, the 2019 Dodgers have unlocked what the game of baseball at it’s best is all about. Only very rarely will a team uncover something this special, to evoke these feelings in a fan base. The beauty of baseball is sometimes a magical event will come out of nowhere.

Without question, the 2019 Dodgers have shown us this time and again in the season’s first half. It’s good to hear a veteran’s appreciation of this while he’s within the moment, or many moments.
