The never ending saga revolving around a pair of rehabbing Dodgers looks to be finally coming to an end. Per Bill Plunkett of the OC Register, Corey Seager and AJ Pollock have completed their rehab assignments and expect to be activated on Friday in Boston.
Corey Seager went 0 for 2 and AJ Pollock 0 for 3 with RC Quakes tonight. That is expected to end their rehab assignments. Will be activated by #Dodgers Friday in Boston

Seager, out since June 11, recorded 2 hits in 6 at-bats, while driving in a run, and striking out once. He successfully converted 5 chances in 7 innings at shortstop.
Seager had been heating up at the plate when he suffered a hamstring strain in Anaheim. In his previous 20 games, he was batting at a .382 clip, raising his season average to .278 with 8 home runs and 38 RBI.
Pollock went 0-12 with 5 Ks in 4 games for Rancho. He last played in a big league game on April 28 at Dodger Stadium before succumbing to an elbow infection, and later surgery. On the season, Pollock has slashed .223/.287/.617 with 2 home runs and 14 RBI in his first season with Los Angeles.
Beyond the game rehab with Rancho, both players also participated in simulated games, and virtual reality environments as part of their return to action.
Roster Outlook
After the Dodgers activated David Freese and optioned Edwin Rios and Kyle Garlick to AAA, one more roster spot will need to be created before both Seager and Pollock can make their return in Boston. While one option is rookie Matt Beaty, they are also carrying 13 pitchers, so JT Chargois or Zac Rosscup could be on the bubble.
