The Dodgers have traded catcher Josh Thole and left-hander Adam McCreery to the Angels for cash considerations.
The Dodgers today activated OF A.J. Pollock from the 60-day injured list. In order to make room on the 40-man roster, the Dodgers traded LHP Adam McCreery and catcher Josh Thole to the Los Angeles Angels for cash considerations.

McCreery was acquired by the Dodgers in late November from the Atlanta Braves for cash considerations.
The 26-year-old southpaw was well-known in camp for his extraordinary height (6’9″) but failed to produce at Triple-A Oklahoma City, posting a 5.79 ERA in 18 2/3 innings there. McCreery began his 2019 campaign at Double-A Tulsa where he enjoyed some success in 17 innings of work, putting together a 2.12 ERA.
McCreery has thrown one career inning at the big-league level for the Atlanta Braves in 2018, in which he allowed two earned runs and struck out two batters.
Thole, the former personal catcher of Cy Young Award winner R.A. Dickey, had been at Triple-A Oklahoma City, but was not performing. Thole has not been in the majors since 2016.
AJ Pollock will return to the Dodgers’ lineup for the first time since May, when he went down with an elbow infection.
