Scott Alexander (forearm) is reportedly not progressing well on his way back from injury.
According to a column by Ken Gurnick of MLB.com, Alexander remains in extended spring training at Camelback Ranch and has tossed numerous bullpen sessions there with an expectation that he returns in late-July.
Alexander has been out with a forearm injury since June 11.
When asked about the possible return of Alexander in the coming days, manager Dave Roberts had this to say about the return timetable for him:
“Still not healthy. It’s dragging on longer than we thought. There’s no new diagnosis, it’s just taking longer than we expected.”
The bullpen currently carries two lefties in Julio Urías and Zac Rosscup, with Caleb Ferguson in the minor leagues and performing well.

The trade deadline is approaching and the Dodgers will most likely make a move to acquire a pen lefty, but the situation right now is not great.
Alexander held a 5.44 DRA before the injury and held a 5.33 DRA last year in his first season with the Dodgers.
