Chris Taylor (fractured forearm) has been placed on the 10-day IL and infielder/outfielder Matt Beaty has been recalled.
The Dodgers announced they placed Chris Taylor on the injured list with a fractured left forearm. They recalled Matt Beaty from OKC.

Taylor was hit on the wrist by a fastball last night in Boston, and went for x-rays that proved to be inaccurate. Initially the results were listed as negative for the infielder, but he was unable to use his left hand after the game, and remained in a lot of pain.
Today’s new x-rays, by a machine that actually worked provided significantly worse results for player and team.
Chris Taylor was on a tear heading into the second half and this is an enormous blow to the Dodgers’ offense. CT3 has posted a 106 wRC+ through 90 games with the Dodgers this season and was batting well over .300 over his previous 25 games.
The typical forearm strain takes six to ten weeks to recover from, which would put Taylor out until potentially September.
Expect Kiké Hernandez to take up a solid amount of Taylor’s playing time. Beaty, who was recalled in response, has posted an 86 wRC+ this season in 37 games and is already in Philadelphia for the upcoming series.
We will update as we receive them.
