Watch: Dodger Stadium Concourse Renovations Unveiled Ahead of 2020

On Tuesday afternoon at Dodger Stadium, MLB, the Dodgers, and the city of Los Angeles unveiled the logo for the 2020 All-Star Game. Along with the logo, the Dodgers and the city of LA also officially unveiled their plan to upgrade and renovate Dodger Stadium during the upcoming off-season.

It’s a bold undertaking. Watch the video, hosted by the legendary Vin Scully, below.

Per the official release from the Dodgers:

The new two-acre Centerfield plaza to include Sandy Koufax statue, unique food offerings, retail space, and entertainment and kids area.

Dodger Stadium last hosted the All-Star Game in 1980, so this is a very necessary face lift for the venue that’s currently in it’s 57th year of operation.

Expanding on the upgrades, they will include, but are not limited to:

  • Creation of a centerfield plaza
  • Pavilion renovations
  • New elevators and bridges
  • New sound system
  • Sandy Koufax Statue
