The Dodgers have placed infielder David Freese (left hamstring strain) on the 10-day Injured List and have placed infielder Tyler White on the 25-man roster to take Freese’s place.
#Dodgers have officially added Tyler White to the roster. David Freese goes to the Injured List with continuing hamstring problems

Freese has been dealing with a hamstring and leg issues for quite some time and has seen time on the IL because of it. He has been fantastic for the Dodgers this year when he has been on the field, however, posting a .300 batting average and elite 157 wRC+ in 163 plate appearances.
White, acquired by the Dodgers on Thursday, plays the same positions as Freese and most likely will see that share of at-bats in his time with the club. He holds a career 103 wRC+, an 81 wRC+ in 2019, although with a 144 wRC+ in 2018.
