MLB News: 2019 Postseason Broadcast Schedule Released

Major League Baseball has released the 2019 playoff schedule and here it is below:

Right off the bat, one thing that you can’t help but notice is the fact that there is no chance for November playoff baseball this season. In past years, World Series Game 7s have been on November 1 if not on Halloween. The Wild Card Game will take place on October 1, kicking off October on day one.

As usual, the games will solely be hosted on Fox Sports 1, Fox, ESPN, MLB Network, and TBS.

Regardless of the Dodgers’ finish in the standings, they will play their first playoff game on October 3rd. If the season ended today, it would be the winner of the Wild Card Game between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Washington Nationals or Philadelphia Phillies.

The Dodgers are currently tied with the New York Yankees for the best winning percentage in baseball at .649 and are the best team in the National League by a whopping 7.5 games in front of the Atlanta Braves.

We will have a postseason this year as it looks, let’s just hope we get a different result this season!
