Dodgers: Kenley Jansen Pitches Lakers Anthony Davis

The Dodgers will be hosting Lakers night when they take on the Toronto Blue Jays on August 20th and closer Kenley Jansen has called out the Lakers newest acquisition to throw out the first pitch.

While the Dodgers continued their dominant 2019 season throughout late June and early July, a number of their fans were also captivated by the Lakers as NBA free agency approached.

Ever since it was announced that the Lakers had traded for Anthony Davis on June 17, there’s been speculation about when the newest purple and gold big-man would make his first appearance at Dodger Stadium.

Jansen has been very outspoken in the past regarding his Lakers fandom, so it’s no surprise that he’d like to catch the first pitch from Davis in a couple of weeks.

Jansen, and many Dodgers fans who also root for the Lakers, will be very pleased with Davis’ response to Jansen’s request.

So, there we have it. Davis will be there for Lakers Night on August 20th. Maybe Jansen can now focus on getting King James to join his new partner in crime for what looks to be a fantastic night at Dodger Stadium.
