Dodgers: Dodgers vs. Mets Game to be aired on ESPN Sunday Night Baseball

The Dodgers and Mets game on September 15 will be aired on ESPN, per Bill Plunkett.

With that, the game will not be blacked out and available to the Los Angeles area.

The Dodgers are cruising by in the National League to the tune of a 77-40, with a 18-game lead in the NL West. As for the Mets, they have a record of 59-56; however, they are just 0.5 games behind a Wild Card spot.

Although the Mets have a record of 59-56, ever since the All-Star break, they have been playing much better. They are 19-6 post-All-Star break, and 9-1 in their last 10 games. The Dodgers are 8-2 in their last 10 games, and in September, the Dodgers may want to rest some of the veterans and star players to reduce risk of injury With that, we could see Dodgers star prospect Gavin Lux early-mid September.

If the Mets remain dominant, this could be a crucial series for New York. As for the Dodgers, they will look to add on to their impressive record, but more importantly, get into playoff form, for October. The first pitch is scheduled for 4:08 PM PT.
