With news coming today that Max Muncy will miss extended time with a wrist injury, the Dodgers placed him on the 10-day injured list while recalling utility player Kristopher Negrón.
The Dodgers have activated IF/OF Kristopher Negrón from the 10-day injured list and placed IF Max Muncy on the 10-day injured list with a right wrist fracture, retroactive to August 29.

The 29 year-old Muncy has enjoyed a fine followup to his breakout 2018 season. In 129 games this year, Mad Max owns a triple slash line of .253/.375/.525 with 33 home runs and a career high 82 RBI while playing plus defense all around the diamond.
Negrón was acquired by the Dodgers in July while Chris Taylor and Enrique Hernandez were out with injuries and he got off to a fast start in his first week donning blue. After cooling some, he finds his line with Los Angeles sitting at .268 with 2 home runs and 7 RBI in 15 games. His overall season average with Seattle and LA is at .250 with 3 home runs and 8 RBI.

Negrón. 33, was placed on the injured list on August 20 with neck stiffness. Prior to the injury, he was batting .268 (11-for-41) with two homers and seven RBI in 15 games for the Dodgers. On the season, he has appeared in 25 games for the Mariners and Dodgers, hitting .250 (16-for-64) with two homers and eight RBI. He originally joined the Dodgers on July 28 from the Seattle Mariners in exchange for the minor league infielder Daniel Castro.
Muncy, 29, has appeared in 129 games for the Dodgers, batting .253 (112-for-442) with 33 homers and 87 RBI. The All-Star became the first Dodger to record back-to-back 30-homer seasons since Shawn Green (2001-2002). In two seasons with the Dodgers, he has amassed 68 homers and 168 RBI while slashing .258/.382/.552. In parts of four Major League seasons, he has hit .245 (258-for-1052) with 73 homers and 183 RBI.
