Dodgers Break Another NL Home Run Record with Ocean Polluting 2nd Inning

Dodgers have broken another National League home run record tonight against the San Francisco Giants.

Slugging Into History

The Dodgers have already broken the National League record for home runs in a season, and for how many players have 10+ home runs. Bellinger and Seager put the Dodgers into the record books again tonight. It’s been a ridiculous season all around MLB for home run records, and the Dodgers have most certainly been one of the teams leading that charge. The baseballs in MLB have clearly gone through a ‘juice cleanse.’ Baseballs are leaving the park at record paces. Thankfully for Dodger fans, the Dodgers have benefited from this more than any team in the NL.

Does Bellinger Have One More Record In Him?

With Cody Bellinger hitting his 47th tonight, he has two (and a half as of this writing) more games to tie Shawn Green’s Dodger record of 49. While the Dodgers may be playing in a pitching friendly park to end the season, the Giants pitching staff isn’t exactly at the top. This is something to keep an eye on.
