Indeed, one reason I like the current core of Los Angeles Dodgers is they’re never short on having some fun with one another. Notably, it’s good to root for a team that wins a lot of games; which they do. On the other hand, a couple of key core members who can have some fun at each other’s expense.
Now, Cody Bellinger is poking fun at starting pitcher Walker Buehler on Twitter. Furthermore, the party got started when SportsNet Los Angeles released a tweet recapping Buehler’s outstanding season.
.@buehlersdayoff was a force for the #Dodgers this season, pitching his way to his first career All-Star Game selection.

Then, the 2019 Most Valuable Player dropped the proverbial elbow on young Buehler.
That’s the best they could do with that face of yours

Following up a tweet where Buheler admitted his picture was less than ideal, Bellinger’s tweets the following:
“That’s the best they could do with that face of yours”
Obviously, a quality zinger and a ‘W’ for the 2019 MVP.
Finally, both of these guys come from the school of hard knocks when it comes to smack talk. For example, Buehler’s teammates say he’s as good as it gets when it comes to that area. Remember also, Yasiel Puig trolled Bellinger good last summer for his pants and socks.
Without a doubt, if a young player can survive the rigors of the Dodgers’ clubhouse jabs; he can survive anywhere in the world. It’s hard not to love these guys a little more for all of it.
