Dodgers Video: LA Set to ‘Win For Vin’ This October

It’s finally here — the start of the real season for your Los Angeles Dodgers. And, as is tradition, the beginning of the postseason means it’s time for hype videos.

The Dodgers media team uploaded several little nuggets on Monday aimed at getting fans geared up for October. The first one was almost literally paint drying and even that was pretty cool.

Then the good stuff came.

This fall’s theme: Win For Vin.
This fall’s narrative: “quiet the critics.”

Julio Urias was officially named game one starter by Dave Roberts on Monday, opening the postseason on the mound for the first game for the first time in his career. Clayton Kershaw gets the ball in game two. The Padres — oh, by the way, the Dodgers are facing the Padres — are countering with Mike Clevinger and Yu Darvish.

LA holds the season advantage over San Diego 14-5, but regular season success doesn’t mean much now. This is the big stage. And it’s time to win for Vin.
