Dodgers vs Padres NLDS Game 3: Latest Betting Odds, Predictions and Picks for October 14

After the Dodgers won Game 1, 5-3, the Padres bounced back with a 5-3 win of their own to even the series after two games in Los Angeles. Now, the NLDS moves to San Diego for Games 3 and 4, as the Dodgers look to regain control of the series.

Los Angeles will send Tony Gonsolin to the mound for just his second start since August 23. They won’t be looking for much length from him, but the hope is four or five innings, with all nine relievers rested and available afterwards, including multi-inning guys Dustin May and Andrew Heaney. The key, of course, will be the L.A. offense showing up and putting some runs on the board.

Trying to prevent that for San Diego will be Blake Snell, who went 0-1 in three starts against the Dodgers this season. Most notably, Snell averaged nearly 21 pitches per inning in his three started against L.A. He averaged 18.3 pitches per inning overall, so the Dodgers will be looking to put some runs on the board and get his pitch count up and get him out of the game early.

Team Games (W/L)

  • Dodgers against the spread (ATS) this season: 97-65 (per ActionNetwork.com)
